Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer (T03) to join the Embedded Solutions team. You will design and implement firmware for modern microcontrollers, develop drivers, and collaborate across hardware and software disciplines to deliver secure, high-performance embedded systems for defense applications.

You will work in a multidisciplinary, Agile environment, contribute to validation and test automation, and ensure compliance with security and quality standards. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required.
• 5–8 years of embedded firmware or software experience.
• Proficient in C and C++ for real-time systems.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for U.S. DoD contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate embedded firmware and software for ARM Cortex-based systems.
• Develop peripheral interfaces and device drivers (serial, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
• Support hardware bring-up and lab verification with oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Implement RTOS or bare-metal solutions to meet real-time constraints.
• Contribute to system validation, test automation, and documentation.
• Collaborate in Agile teams using MS Teams and Azure DevOps.
