Job summary

Navitas Systems LLC is seeking a Sr. Battery Management System (BMS) Engineer to design, develop, and sustain embedded firmware for lithium-ion battery products used in military, commercial, and industrial markets.

You will develop low-level drivers, algorithms for OCV, SOC, and SOH, and participate in DV/PV testing to ensure quality and compliance across hardware and software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• 7+ years of embedded systems work experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with battery or relevant energy systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for Battery Management Systems.
• Assist in defining electrical, firmware, and system-level requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical and testing teams to ensure integration of battery systems.
