Navitas Systems LLC is seeking a self-motivated Senior Software Engineer to support and improve our Battery Management Systems product line and help shape the next generation platform. Based in Ann Arbor, MI, you will join a focused team shaping core architecture for advanced battery solutions.

In a small, multidisciplinary engineering team you will own technical challenges from concept through production, applying strong electronics fundamentals and cross‑disciplinary collaboration to deliver

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years of embedded software/controls experience in production.
• Experience with V-model development and CAN/J1939/UDS.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and release BMS software from requirements to production.
• Implement BMS functions: protection, diagnostics, comms, cell monitoring, balancing, SOC/SOH.
• Own cross-domain BMS issues across software/electronics/hardware.
• Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Validation, Manufacturing, Quality, and Field Apps.
• Define verification methods and perform integration/testing with BMS hardware.
• Provide technical direction for external software partners.
