Job summary

Navitas Systems is seeking a Sr. Battery Management System (BMS) Engineer to design, develop, and sustain advanced BMS solutions for lithium-ion battery products.

The role focuses on embedded firmware development and integration with electrical hardware and system-level requirements. You will create design validation documentation, support DV/PV testing, and ensure hardware and firmware meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
• 7+ years embedded systems work experience.
• 5+ years experience with battery or energy systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware for Battery Management Systems.
• Define electrical, firmware, and system-level requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and testing teams for integration.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Develop end-of-line test apparatus and production testing procedures.
