Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing, via Navitas Systems, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance our Battery Management Systems platform. You will contribute across the product development lifecycle, from concept through production, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate will have strong embedded C/C++ skills, experience with CAN networks, and a track record of delivering safety-critical embedded software for battery systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Computer, Controls or related field.
• Experience with embedded software development for production products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support BMS software from requirements to production release.
• 2.
• 3. Own complex BMS issues across software, electronics, and hardware interfaces.
• 4. Collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Validation, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• 5. Define verification methods and perform integration and testing with BMS hardware.
• 6. Provide technical direction for external engineering partners.
