Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Senior Elixir Software Engineer to drive development of our distributed ground control system. You will own end‑to‑end features, shape architecture, and mentor engineers in a high autonomy team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level Elixir and OTP, deep BEAM knowledge.
• Experience designing resilient distributed systems and API boundaries.
• Strong testing philosophy with ExUnit, property testing, and distributed testing.
• Experience with OAuth2, RBAC and security patterns.
• PostgreSQL experience at scale and distributed tracing.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex distributed system features end-to-end.
• Drive architectural direction for Elixir/OTP systems.
• Identify and address technical debt, reliability risks, and bottlenecks.
• Set the quality bar with code reviews and tests.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and reviews.
• Collaborate across product, frontend, backend, and space ops teams.
• Ship iteratively with well-scoped increments and documentation.
