Job summary

True Anomaly is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to drive feature development across our React/TypeScript frontend and Elixir backend. You will shape the evolution of spacecraft modeling, simulation, and ground control software with high autonomy and accountability.

You will own end-to-end features, set architectural direction, and champion code quality across the stack, mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with product, design, QA, and space operators.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development across frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in React (TypeScript) and Elixir with OTP knowledge.
• Experience testing across stack (Vitest/RTL and ExUnit).

Responsibilities

• Own complex features end-to-end from UI to backend services.
• Drive frontend/backend architectural direction and patterns.
• Address technical debt, performance, and reliability risks.
• Set quality bar with rigorous reviews and testing practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product/design teams.
• Ship incrementally, document decisions, and improve onboarding.
