True Anomaly is seeking a dedicated Senior Elixir Software Engineer to drive the development of our distributed spacecraft ground control system. You will own end-to-end features, set architectural direction for Elixir/OTP, and champion reliability and testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level Elixir and OTP with BEAM internals knowledge.
• Designing resilient distributed systems and fault tolerance patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex distributed system features end-to-end.
• Drive architectural direction for Elixir/OTP systems.
• Address technical debt and performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
• Set quality standards via rigorous code reviews and testing.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing and reviews.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, backend, and space operators.
• Ship iteratively with well-scoped increments and timely delivery.
• Document decisions and patterns to aid onboarding over time.
