Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to drive feature development across React/TypeScript frontend and Elixir backend. You will own end-to-end functionality in spacecraft modeling, simulation, and ground control software, with high autonomy and accountability.

You will shape architecture, set code quality standards, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product, design, and space operators.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development across frontend and backend
• Expert-level HTML/CSS and modern TypeScript/JavaScript
• Deep React expertise with advanced patterns and performance optimization
• Strong Elixir and OTP knowledge
• Strong testing across the stack (Vitest, RTL, ExUnit)
• Fluency with gRPC, REST and WebSocket APIs
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and data modeling
• Git-based workflows with high-quality PRs
• US citizen and eligible for DoD clearance

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex features end-to-end across the full stack
• Drive architectural direction for frontend and backend systems
• Address technical debt, bottlenecks, and reliability risks
• Set the quality bar with rigorous code reviews and testing
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and domain experts across systems
• Ship iteratively with well-scoped increments
• Document decisions and patterns for onboarding and knowledge growth
