Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Modernization Project Manager to oversee multiple installation projects in the Dallas/Irving area. The role focuses on on-time delivery, budget control, and compliance with safety standards.

You will coordinate contracts, payments, RFIs, and change orders while collaborating with sales, superintendents, and leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder relations.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award to completion and review progress.
• Proactively communicate with cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with sales, superintendents, and leadership to balance financial and customer goals.
• Manage contract writing/administration, payments, RFIs, and change orders.
• Interpret contracts and modifications to determine costs; assist in contingencies.
