Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Lead ESS Installation Technician to perform and oversee installation work on technology projects for our clients. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with project management and field superintendents, and lead the on-site installation of devices, head end work, and related systems.

The role requires 3+ years installing access control and video surveillance in large environments, supervising others, and ensuring safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience installing access control and video surveillance in large commercial environments.
• Experience supervising others and providing helpful feedback.
• Ability to train and coach others to the Diversified standards.
• Lenel experience/ certification preferred.
• Must understand access control/CCTV systems and troubleshoot during installations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee ESS Installation Technicians on a project site while also performing as an Installation Technician.
• Know and learn BOM materials required for each job.
• Maintain timeline of the job schedule and communicate delays to the Site Supervisor.
• Own the work load and manage multiple tasks; coordinate with PM and Site Supervisor.
• Maintain daily communication with the Site Supervisor and report issues ASAP.
• Keep written records on OneNote: work accomplished, project issues, risks, RFIs.
• Review drawings and BOM lists to ensure quality standards are met.
