Job summary

Diversified in Chicago seeks a Lead ESS Installation Technician to manage on-site installation work and lead field technicians on complex technology projects.

You will coordinate with project teams, interpret drawings, and ensure on-time delivery of equipment and systems. The role demands strong ACS/CCTV experience, problem-solving, and the ability to travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on, recent experience installing access control and video surveillance in large-scale commercial environments.
• Experience supervising the work of others on job sites.
• Lenel certification is preferred.
• Ability to understand access control/CCTV systems and troubleshoot and fix problems.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Active passport or ability to obtain travel clearance.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee ESS Installation Technicians on project sites, while performing as an Installation Technician.
• Know BOM and material requirements for each job.
• Maintain job schedule timelines and communicate delays to Site Supervisor.
• Coordinate with project management, field superintendents, and clients.
• Document issues, RFIs, redlines, and inventory on One Note or similar tools.
• Support site readiness and perform complex system installations.
