Job summary

Motional in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Technician to join our in‑person team supporting the build, testing, and validation of advanced electromechanical systems for autonomous and electric vehicle platforms.

This hands‑on role requires deep electrical and mechanical knowledge, efficient collaboration in a fast‑paced prototyping environment, and the ability to document work clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience with harness fabrication and assembly.
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, low-voltage, sensors, and actuators.
• Work efficiently and collaboratively within a close knit team.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate wire harnesses from BOM and schematics.
• Support prototype builds, retrofits, and system integrations.
• Assemble, diagnose, and repair electromechanical systems.
• Perform in a rapid prototyping R&D environment.
• Create concise documentation of work performed.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards.
