Job summary

TSMG seeks a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technician to maintain, diagnose, repair, and prepare autonomous fleets for daily robotaxi operations across North America. You will work with AV Ops Leads, Depot Specialists, Safety Operators, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive diagnostics, EV systems, and high-voltage safety, with experience in ADAS, autonomous driving hardware, and robotics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as automotive/EV technician, diagnostic technician, or similar.
• Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair capabilities.
• Solid understanding of electrical/electronic vehicle systems.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles used in robotaxi fleet operations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related vehicle issues.
• Maintain vehicle uptime and safety through detailed inspections and repairs.
• Perform vehicle software updates and validation checks per procedures.
• Escalate complex issues with clear documentation to engineering teams.
• Lead shifts when required and mentor junior technicians.
