Job summary
TSMG is seeking a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Technician to maintain and repair electric and autonomous vehicles used in robotaxi fleet operations across North America. You will work with AV operations leads, depot specialists, and engineering teams to ensure uptime, safety, and readiness for daily deployment.
The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, high-voltage safety, software updates, and collaboration with fleet operations to support autonomous ride-hailing services and new city launches.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience as an automotive technician or diagnostic technician.
- Strong experience with automotive diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Good understanding of electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
- Experience using diagnostic tools, service software, and technical repair documentation.
- Ability to follow strict technical procedures and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric and autonomous vehicles used in robotaxi fleet operations.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related vehicle issues.
- Support maintenance workflows for high-availability autonomous vehicle fleets in shift-based environments.
- Perform advanced diagnostics on EV platforms, ADAS systems, and autonomous driving hardware.
- Escalate complex issues with documentation to engineering teams.
