Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology America, Inc. is seeking an Electromechanical Field Service Technician III to provide on-site servicing, installation and repair of complex electromechanical equipment in the Flushing, NY area, delivering proactive service and accurate reports to uphold customer trust.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 4+ years of field service experience, strong troubleshooting and PC/network skills, readiness to travel, and flexibility

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant work experience, including at least 2 years in field service.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• Hands-on with electromechanical equipment is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting, electronics principles, and PC/network knowledge.
• Willingness to travel and work shifts; customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site servicing, installation, and repair of electromechanical equipment.
• Diagnose failures and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support customers with operational and maintenance issues.
• Prepare reports analyzing product failure trends and serviceability.
• Assist in training less experienced field service technicians.
• Travel as required to support business needs and cover for others.
