Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) seeks a Level III Field Service Technician to perform on-site servicing, installation and repair of complex electromechanical equipment, delivering data-driven service and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures, implement repairs to minimize downtime, train less experienced technicians, and coordinate with technical support and management. Travel and long hours are required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with troubleshooting electronics and understanding electronic principles.
• Experience with solenoids, belts, rollers, bearings, pneumatics, and guides is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service calls and perform equipment maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose failures and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Provide on-site training and develop less experienced field technicians.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for failure trends and serviceability issues.
• Coordinate parts inventory and shipments for repair and replenishment.
