Job summary

bioMérieux in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to ensure optimal performance of high-speed manufacturing equipment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting, independent decision making, and mentoring of junior technicians.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO standards and safety protocols. Strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience with intermediate to advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience reading schematics and prints; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
