Job summary
bioMérieux is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of advanced manufacturing equipment at our Durham facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on complex mechanical and electrical systems, while mentoring junior techs and contributing to continuous improvement projects.
Candidates should have 3+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with GMP/cGMP
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of related electro-mechanical maintenance experience and advanced troubleshooting.
- Experience reading schematics, prints, and control diagrams.
- Knowledge of GMP/cGMP environments and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians.
- Contribute to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with FDA, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols.
