Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean's modular product line, is seeking an experienced electrical technician.

You will lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and startup of LV/MV equipment in field and shop environments, with a focus on safety and quality. The role requires 5+ years of electrical experience and strong knowledge of test equipment (Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, Fluke).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house using company software; ensure complete job documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and other electrical apparatus.
• Contain material costs by eliminating waste and applying proper control measures.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure efficient system commissioning and startup.
