is seeking an experienced electrical test technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and shop environments. The role requires expertise with transformers, switchgear, relays, circuit breakers, and protective relays, plus the ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally (international travel preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have valid/active U.S. work authorization.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on electrical testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read schematics and use protective relays, switchgear and transformers.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical power distribution systems.
• Conduct insulation resistance, power factor, and contact resistance testing.
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate and troubleshoot protective relays, circuit breakers, switchgear, and transformers.
• Maintain detailed test reports and documentation.
• Coordinate projects onsite and in-house and manage job documentation.
• Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout and PPE protocols.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; international travel preferred.
