Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical test and maintenance professional to lead testing, troubleshooting, and startup activities for low and medium voltage distribution equipment.

The role includes interpreting schematics, building safety compliance, and coordinating multiple projects across field and shop environments. Candidates should have 5+ years of electrical experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to travel regionally and nationally; NETA/NICET preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.
• NETA / NICET certification (preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical power distribution systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protective relays.
• Conduct insulation resistance testing, power factor testing, contact resistance testing, and other tests in accordance with NETA standards.
• Analyze test results to determine the condition of equipment and recommend corrective actions if needed.
• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house utilizing company software systems, review and maintain job documentation.
