Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking an experienced electrical test technician to lead inspection, testing, and startup of low and medium voltage systems for datacenter and critical infrastructure projects. You will work onsite and in shop environments, traveling locally and regionally as required, with emphasis on safety and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of electrical experience with HS Diploma/GED or associate degree with 4+ years, or bachelor’s with 3+ years.
• Valid/active U.S. work authorization.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house using company software; manage documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and other electrical equipment.
• Conserve costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing control measures.
• Rotate to on-call duties and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork; support commissioning and startup of systems.
