seeks an experienced electrical test technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of LV/MV distribution equipment both in the field and shop. Travel locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally is encouraged. Expect to perform acceptance and maintenance testing, relay testing, calibration, and programming across manufacturers, while documenting results and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience with HS diploma/GED.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands‑on testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC and OSHA standards.
• Ability to interpret schematics and manuals.
• Proficient with protective relays, breakers, transformers, switchgear, and testing equipment.
• Experience with medium/high voltage testing up to 500kV and arc flash analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead multiple projects onsite and in‑house with various software.
• Test low/medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
• Contain costs by eliminating waste and implementing controls.
• Rotating on‑call duty and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
