Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks a Test Technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, in the field and in a shop environment.

You will work with sophisticated testing equipment, follow safety standards, and travel locally to nationally as projects require. Strong problem solving and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years electrical experience with HS diploma or GED.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally; international preferred.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform testing of low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and other electrical equipment.
• Coordinate, review and maintain project documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Contain material costs by eliminating waste and implementing controls.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
