Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, the manufacturing campus for M.C. Dean’s datacenter and critical infrastructure products, seeks technicians to inspect, test, and startup low and medium voltage equipment in field and shop environments. Travel locally and regionally is required, with international travel preferred where applicable.

The role emphasizes safe operations, adherence to NETA standards, and collaboration with engineers and clients to ensure successful project commissioning and startup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house, reviewing and maintaining job documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Test low and medium voltage cables, instrument and power transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and other electrical apparatus.
• Contain material costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing control measures.
• Rotate emergency on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies promptly.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
