Job summary

TerraPower in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a Technical Lead, Electrical Systems to drive design and integration across nuclear island systems and the EPC contractor. You will oversee engineering analyses, interface management, and procurement oversight, guiding a team of engineers to meet safety, cost, and schedule objectives.

You will mentor staff, ensure compliance with IEEE standards and nuclear quality programs, and own the Integrated Master Schedule.

Qualifications

• Ten years of direct experience with electrical systems.
• Experience with nuclear plant electrical systems design.
• Knowledge of IEEE 308/323/344/379/383/384/741 standards.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead design teams with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities and oversee technical work.
• Review electrical system design deliverables and mentor staff.
• Manage handoffs and interfaces across organizations.
• Provide technical direction to partners and suppliers.
• Support licensing content preparation and RAIs.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality.
• Own activities in the Integrated Master Schedule.
• Act as Technical Representative for contractor staff.
