Job summary

TerraPower LLC., based in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a Technical Lead, Electrical Systems to drive design, analysis, and interface management for the Natrium project. Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent (advanced degree counts toward experience).
• A minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience with proven electrical systems skills.
• Previous experience with nuclear plant electrical systems design and familiarity with Class 1E standards incl. IEEE 308/323/344/379/383/384/741.
• Familiarity with design control and development per nuclear power plant QA (10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1).
• Demonstrated experience in project management of engineering activities in the nuclear field, including systems engineering.
• Strong configuration management, design control, and technical scheduling understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities (design, analysis, evaluation, modeling) and oversee technical work and changes.
• Review electrical systems deliverables and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage handoffs to/from electrical systems and coordinate interfaces for required data.
• Provide technical direction to partners, subcontractors, and suppliers; review submittals for quality and timeliness.
• Contribute to licensing content preparation and information gathering (OLA, RAIs).
• Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality, maintain project standards across design, delivery, and management.
• Own activities in the Integrated Master Schedule and resolve resource conflicts with leadership.
