Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a senior Engineer III to lead engineering efforts on large projects. This role requires coordinating with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades, and occasionally serving as Engineer of Record. Expect on-site field involvement and mentoring of staff.

The position emphasizes advanced electrical design, power systems, and project coordination within Rosendin’s shareowner culture. A PE license and 5+ years’ experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience.
• One-year on-site field experience strongly encouraged.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individual initiative.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise, review, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Supervise process coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and all electrical trades.
• Oversee the preparation of designs, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Prepare documentation for the commissioning of a building.
