Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer III to lead design and coordination across electrical systems for high-profile projects. You will mentor staff, ensure compliance with standards, and interface with clients, architects, and trades on-site.

This role requires PE licensure, 5+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and engineering analysis tools. Travel up to 50% is involved. Rosendin offers ESOP and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience.
• One-year on-site field experience strongly encouraged.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individual initiative.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise, review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Supervise process coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and all electrical trades.
• Oversee the preparation of designs, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Oversee preparation of power system single-line diagrams, including feeder, over current protection sizing, and equipment elevations.
• Supervise or conduct short circuit and over-current protection device coordination studies and Arc Flash Studies.
