Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to own sustaining engineering for product electrical systems, power distribution and wiring. You will investigate field issues, develop design improvements and manage schematics, BOMs and change control.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in a product or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Owns sustaining engineering for product electrical systems, power distribution and wiring.
- Investigates and resolves field and production electrical issues through root-cause analysis.
- Develops electrical design improvements, cost reductions and component-obsolescence solutions.
- Maintains electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs and change control (ECN/ECO).
- Supports agency certification and compliance activities (UL, CSA, NEC).
- Supports production troubleshooting, test-stand development and validation.
- Partners with suppliers on electrical components and qualification.
- Provides technical guidance to technicians and less-experienced engineers.
- Travel up to 10%.
