Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead the Sustaining Engineering organization for commercial HVAC and data center cooling products. You will guide lifecycle management, drive cost reductions, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Supply Chain, Product Management and Design Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years of professional engineering experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience and leading project teams.
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing engineering team.
• Experience in sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sustaining Engineering to ensure lifecycle management of HVAC and data center cooling products.
• Drive strategies, resource planning, and execution for sustaining activities.
• Provide engineering governance, change management, and risk reporting to leadership.
• Partner with manufacturing, quality, service, supply chain, and product management to resolve issues.
• Support supplier localization and dual-source qualification initiatives.
