Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Lead Electrical Superintendent to drive field execution for combined cycle and simple cycle power projects. You will lead direct-hire craft, foremen, subcontractors, and field engineers to ensure safe, high‑quality electrical work aligned with project requirements.

You will coordinate with civil, mechanical, piping, I&C and startup teams, monitor progress, manage costs, and mentor senior field leaders to deliver on schedule and safety targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years as a Superintendent or CM on large projects.
• Experience leading electrical installation on power generation sites.
• Strong ability to plan, schedule and supervise multi‑discipline crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical field execution for combined cycle/simple cycle projects, ensuring safe, high‑quality work.
• Coordinate with craft, subcontractors, field engineering and startup teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor CPM schedules, progress, turnover priorities and costs.
• Mentor foremen and discipline superintendents to strengthen leadership.
• Develop look‑ahead plans and ensure safe, compliant work packages.
• Maintain daily logs, quantity reports and field documentation.
