Job summary
Dominion Energy Virginia’s Electric Transmission System Protection Engineering group seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop protective relay settings for distribution and renewable interconnections. Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering with ABET accreditation.
- Possess the required education for placement in the Engineer series per Dominion Energy guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply basic protection philosophy and applications to real-world scenarios.
- Develop protective relay settings for SPE Distribution protection schemes inside the substation.
- Provide technical assistance to engineering and field teams to develop protection and control design packages.
- Provide technical support to conceptual engineering teams, project management, and ET Field Organization throughout capital projects.
- Participate in company and industry organizations to enhance ET's system protection performance.
