Job summary

Rosendin Electric in Sterling, VA seeks a Project Manager III to lead complex electrical construction projects, guiding overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes as a seasoned resource for high-profile programs.

You will mentor junior PMs, manage client and A/E relationships, ensure on-schedule and on-budget delivery, and develop new business opportunities while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• PE license a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
• Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Project Assistants, Project Manager I, and Project Manager II.
• Establish project objectives, policies and performance standards.
• Negotiate and supervise change orders.
• Liaise with primary client and A/E to support construction activities and ensure on-schedule, within-budget delivery.
• Anticipate and prevent issues, implement corrective actions.
• Represent the company in client/subcontractor meetings.
• Prepare monthly costing reports.
• Manage contracts financials to protect company interests.
• Develop new business opportunities.
