Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a focus on power systems to join our Hybrid work team. You will perform detailed electrical analyses including relay settings, power system and arc flash studies, and conducted transformer and line calculations for diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV.

Qualifications

• We require a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with power systems background.
• 5+ years of electrical analysis experience required.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV is essential.
• Strong MS Office and communication skills are expected.
• Masters/PhD preferred but not required; PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay setting calculations for power systems.
• Conduct power system calculations and arc flash studies.
• Compute cable ampacity and conduct transient analyses.
• Carry out harmonic, grounding and induction calculations.
• Travel to client offices/sites for on-site consultation.
