Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Engineer for a hybrid role in Westminster, CO. The ideal candidate will perform electrical analysis studies, including relay settings, power system calculations, arc flash, and grounding analyses.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience, proficiency in ETAP/SKM/PSCAD/EMTP-RV, and strong communication and teamwork skills. PE is a plus, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis.
• Experience analyzing power systems with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical analysis studies across projects (relay setting, power system, arc flash).
• Prepare cable ampacity and transient analysis reports.
• Provide on-site consultation as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver results.
