Job summary

Sargent & Lundy offers a hybrid role in Westminster, CO for an experienced electrical engineer within the Electrical Analytical Division. You will support a range of power projects with detailed calculations and studies from both office and client sites.

The position requires a strong background in power systems, plus experience with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV, and excellent communication skills. Travel to client sites may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with power/systems focus; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of electrical analysis experience.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV for power system analysis.
• Proficiency with MS Office and strong written/verbal communication.

• Perform relay setting calculations.
• Conduct power system calculations.
• Perform arc flash calculations.
• Perform cable ampacity calculations.
• Conduct transient analysis.
• Perform harmonic analysis.
• Perform renewable energy calculations.
