Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC seeks an Engineering Technician V (Electrical & IR Survey) with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to provide full-time support for U.S. Naval equipment at SWRMC in San Diego, CA.

You will work with a waterfront team to troubleshoot, maintain, assess, and train Navy personnel to improve Fleet readiness and self-sufficiency. This role requires an active security clearance or ability to obtain one, travel up to 10%, and paid health/welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with U.S. Navy electrical equipment and shipboard systems.
• Experience with infrared surveys and related inspection procedures.
• Ability to use MS Office for reports and history files.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite and surge support for SWRMC equipment.
• Lead assessment teams and provide technical guidance on-site or remotely.
• Prepare DFS and ESR responses and deliver ship visit debriefs.
