Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to design complex electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial projects. You will lead small to mid-sized projects, produce detailed calculations, and coordinate with drafting teams to deliver construction-ready drawings.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation engineering, NEC knowledge, and PE credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete design of complex electrical and instrumentation engineering assignments.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Lead small to mid-sized projects and produce detailed design calculations and drawings.
• Develop installation details, MCC single lines, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and grounding plans.
• Review vendor drawings and submittals for conformance and accuracy.
• Support field activities and startup activities as needed.
