Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design. You will perform design tasks, calculations, and drafting under general supervision for projects of varying scope.

You will verify code compliance, coordinate with other disciplines, review vendor drawings, and support field data collection. A PE license is preferred and NEC expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience with electrical/instrumentation design and CAD drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical/instrumentation design tasks under supervision.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction.
• Check calculations for code compliance and accuracy.
• Support drafting team with sketches and details for drawings.
• Coordinate with design leads across disciplines to ensure timely project delivery.
• Develop construction specifications and vendor document reviews.
• Provide field support and gather data for as-built packages.
