Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD/Drafting from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation design and management.
• Knowledge of design standards and codes; development of material procurement specifications; estimation and scheduling of professional service hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of designers for electrical and instrumentation deliverables.
• Review and approve electrical/instrumentation deliverables and estimates.
• Develop design criteria, scopes, and cost studies; ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Plan and organize team work; communicate plans to leadership and client; manage schedule and budget.
• Produce construction documents, calculations, and bid packages as required.
