Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Ohio seeks a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will install, alter, and repair electrical systems, lead the crew on site, and ensure work meets NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a leader; able to mentor and coach a team of five electricians.
• Understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and recognizing out-of-scope issues.
• Good communication with other trades and navigation of contract-related documents.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and understand project specifications.
• Experience with field layout and use of surveying/layout tools.
• Willingness to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks, and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and project requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team to optimize productivity.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the crew.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC regulations.
• Perform field layout and install electrical conduit, devices, and panels.
• Read project specifications and blueprints to guide installation.
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain schedule and safety.
