Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, mentor the team, and ensure work meets high quality standards while complying with NEC guidelines.

Responsibilities include developing material lists, coordinating layouts, and communicating needs to supervision. Proficiency with Trimble, BlueBeam and Navisworks is valued to interpret plans and schedules.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities; able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Adept at reading and understanding project specifications, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work is to the highest standards.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Lay out small areas of work from electrical drawings and project documents.
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment and software.
• Read and understand project specifications and blueprints; ensure work aligns with NEC guidelines.
