Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Port Arthur, TX seeks a senior field engineer to provide project field engineering specialization, work planning and packaging, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control for the LNG project.

You will verify design conformance, coordinate with other disciplines and with Construction teams, ensure regulatory compliance and successful turnover of systems and components.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) plus 8–10 years of relevant experience, or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with NEC and NETA is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices (lockout/tagout) and ability to read one-line and three-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supports field engineering with planning, packaging, and material management.
• Verifies compliance with design drawings, specifications, and safety codes.
• Conducts field verification of installed equipment and manages punch list/Non-Conformance Reports.
