Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a field engineering leader for the Lake Charles LNG project. You will manage a team and provide field engineering leadership for work planning and packaging, material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control, inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover and subcontracts.

This role ensures field activities operate safely, are complete, and meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and extensive relevant experience in electrical design/inspection.
• Experience in construction engineering, safety and quality control on large projects.
• Knowledge of DCS, HV equipment, grounding and cable pulling.
• Ability to coordinate between design, construction and startup teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead field engineering activities for work planning, packaging and turnover.
• Oversee material management, quantity validation and inspections.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met across the project.
• Coordinate between construction, startup and subcontractors for system turnover.
