Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior field engineer for the Port Arthur LNG project in Port Arthur, TX. You will provide project field engineering specialization, work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree and 8–10 years in heavy industrial construction, with LNG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or international equivalent).
• 8–10 years of relevant field experience or 12–14 years of related work experience.
• Experience in heavy industrial construction with codes and vendor procedures.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving under pressure, and leadership abilities.
• Experience on LNG construction sites is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering specialization and work planning.
• Manage material planning and quantity verification.
• Oversee safety and quality control, testing, and inspections.
• Coordinate subcontract reviews and turnover activities.
• Develop and maintain project drawings and as-built documents.
