Job summary
gpac represents a well-established local electrical contractor in Phoenix seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead estimates for local commercial and industrial projects.
You will independently review plans, perform detailed takeoffs, and develop competitive project estimates while coordinating with Project Management, Operations, and leadership to win bids and ensure successful turnover.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of electrical estimating experience.
- Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical construction background.
- Ability to independently estimate projects from plans and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods.
- Experience with Estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick.
Responsibilities
- Lead estimates for local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
- Complete detailed material and labor takeoffs.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
