Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join a well-established local electrical contractor in the Las Vegas area. You will lead estimates for local commercial and industrial projects and independently manage bids to help win new work.

The role requires strong knowledge of plans, specs, and bid documents, with experience using Accubid, ConEst, or McCormick and a solid grasp of local market pricing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Independent estimator for plans and specs.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, labor, and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents.
• Complete detailed material and labor takeoffs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, and opportunities.
• Develop bid strategies and final proposals.
• Work closely with Project Management, Operations, and company leadership.
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines.
• Assist with project turnover after successful bids.
