Job summary

PCL Industrial Services, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead electrical bid efforts on large hard-bid, design-build and CM projects.

You will perform detailed quantity take-offs, develop accurate cost estimates, present proposals to clients, coordinate with suppliers and operations, and manage risk and opportunities to strengthen project wins. You will also mentor junior estimators and liaise with owners, engineers and subcontractors to ensure alignment on scope

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8-15+ years of electrical estimating experience.
• Knowledge of bid procedures and contract delivery methods.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong industry relationships and supplier engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Completes full quantity take-off of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Leads pricing of general expenses and project-specific requirements.
• Prepares and delivers client presentations.
• Documents estimate information and transfers to project team.
• Performs risk and opportunity analysis for risk register.
• Liaises with external consultants and coordinates tender development.
• Monitors project-specific success criteria and alignment with owners’ business goals.
• Engages suppliers, subcontractors during estimating/bid phase.
